3D Designer

Through their knowledge in 3D modeling tools, the 3D Designer applies their know-how in modeling and materials to the different systems of additive manufacturing.

Through clarity in their ideas and capacity to communicate these back to the team, the 3D Designer lays out the requirements for designing components. They apply their tools and modeling techniques to the process to visualize the models to be manufactured. For this reason, 3D Designers must also be familiar with the colors, materials, and layers required to deliver the final product or prototype successfully.
